When Moving 60 Tons of Matters

It was the winter of 1775 that Revolutionary War hero Henry Knox and his men captured the guns of Fort Ticonderoga and moved them to Boston some 300 miles much of it on mobile sleds.  The guns weighed some 60 tons and moving them through swamps and through woods and mountain terrain to get to Boston has been called "one of the most stupendous feats of logistics".  Henry Knox used innovative thinking to solve one of the biggest and most important logistical challenges that someone has faced.

The team of Innovative Transport Solutions understands that each shipment of steel or heavy freight presents its own logistical challenge.  Using some of the same outside the box thinking of Henry Knox, we have introduced the Mobile Transport Tray or MTT.  These steel trays are capable of holding up to 25 tons of freight and when using a standard forklift truck can be loaded or unloaded from a standard container in under a minute.

Earlier this month we celebrated our nation's birth, that event would not have happened if men like Knox had not used innovation to solve some of the most challenging logistical problems.  Check out the video below to see the MTT in action and then contact our team at Innovative Transport Solutions so we can help you move your freight as well.
