Job Description:

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for warehousing and e-commerce services. This person will identify and pursue new business opportunities through replying and acting on leads generated through online company marketing, cold calling, networking, and referrals. The Sales Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding warehousing and e-commerce services, as well as provide ongoing support to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth and Strategy

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for warehousing and e-commerce services.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Lead presentations and negotiate contracts with clients to secure new business and expand existing relationships.

 

Market Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the warehousing and e-commerce industry.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and propose strategies to differentiate our services.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.

 

Collaboration with Operations

  • Collaborate with the warehousing and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions and efficient service delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and inventory management for clients.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in sales or related fields. Previous experience in logistics, warehousing and e-commerce essential.
  • Certifications/Licenses:

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of warehousing operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
